Pivra in Australia

An AI chatbot for Australian small businesses, billed in Australian dollars.

Pivra puts an AI assistant on your website that answers customers from your own pages, price list and FAQs, asks the questions you would ask, and texts you when someone wants a call back. It is built in Australia, priced in Australian dollars with GST shown, and set up for the way tradies and local services take enquiries.

  • Paid plans from A$39 + GST a month, and a free plan to try it
  • Reviewed templates for plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and cleaning
  • On Starter and above: SMS alerts to your verified Australian mobile, and ServiceM8 jobs at Enquiry status

Free plan, no credit card. Built in Australia.

What Pivra does on an Australian business website

Visitors type a question in plain English. The chatbot answers from what you have given it, your website, documents and the facts you type in, and says so when it does not know rather than guessing. When someone is ready to go ahead, it collects their name, mobile and the details of the job, and passes the enquiry to you.

It is not a phone answering service and it does not replace you. It handles the first reply, which is the part most small businesses miss when they are on the tools, with a client or closed for the night.

Billing

Australian dollars, with GST shown

Paid plans start at A$39 + GST a month for an Australian business. Prices exclude GST, which is added at checkout. The final amount, including GST, is shown before you pay, and payments are processed by Stripe.

Australian dollars for businesses in Australia, US dollars everywhere else. If your card is not Australian, your card provider may convert the charge and add a fee.

You can start on the free plan without a card. To try a paid plan, start a seven-day trial: a card is needed at checkout, there is one trial per workspace and per person, and you are not charged if you cancel before it ends. Plans bill monthly and you can cancel any time from Settings, Billing.

Set up for tradies first

The four reviewed templates are Australian: Plumbing Enquiries, Electrical Enquiries, Air Conditioning Enquiries and Cleaning Quotes. Each sets the questions, the greeting and the safety rules for that trade, including telling a customer to call Triple Zero (000) when there is a gas smell, sparks or other immediate danger. Templates are on Starter and above.

If you run jobs in ServiceM8, each qualified enquiry can arrive as a job at Enquiry status with the customer’s details and job notes filled in, so nothing is retyped.

Plumbers

Burst pipes, hot water and blocked drains, with whether water is leaking recorded on the lead.

Electricians

Switchboard, lighting and fault enquiries, with smoke, sparking or a burning smell asked about and flagged.

Air conditioning

Install, service and repair enquiries, with the system type and brand captured if the customer knows it.

AI chatbot for HVAC

Cleaners

End-of-lease, office and regular cleans, with size, preferred date and access details collected.

Alerts that reach you on a job site

On Starter and above, verify your Australian mobile once in Settings, Notifications, and the chatbot texts you when a lead comes in. When a customer asks for a person (human handoff, also Starter and above), you get an SMS and an email with a link to reply from your phone, no login needed, and the AI stays quiet while you take over.

Set your opening hours and an after-hours message, and the bot still answers what it can at night and takes details for a call back first thing. You can also send each lead to your inbox, a CRM or a webhook with an automation.

Where your data is handled

Our database, API, malware scanner and sign-in email service operate in Sydney, Australia. Replies are generated in the United States, and some other processing happens outside Australia, as listed on our sub-processors page.

Our privacy policy explains how Pivra handles personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988. The policy, our data processing agreement and the provider list are linked below rather than repeated here.

Other Australian businesses using a website chatbot

Outside the trades there are no ready-made templates yet. You start from a blank chatbot, train it on your own pages, and choose the lead fields yourself. These are the fits we see most often, and where to draw the line.

Real estate agencies

Answer questions about your listings, rental applications and appraisals from your own pages, and take buyer, seller or tenant details for the right agent.

Clinics and allied health

Keep it to services, locations, opening hours and the booking link. It should not answer medical questions; say so in its system prompt and test it.

Accountants and bookkeepers

Answer what you offer, the fees you publish and what to bring to an appointment, then share your booking link. Leave tax advice to the accountant.

Cafes, gyms and venues

Opening hours, menus, memberships and function enquiries are the repeat questions a chatbot handles well.

Questions Australian businesses ask

Do Australian businesses pay in Australian dollars?

Yes. A business in Australia is billed in Australian dollars, from A$39 + GST a month for Starter. Prices exclude GST, which is added at checkout. A plan you already pay for stays in its currency.

Is Pivra hosted in Australia?

Our database, API, malware scanner and sign-in email service operate in Sydney, Australia. Replies are generated in the United States, and the sub-processors page lists every provider and where it operates.

How does Pivra handle the Privacy Act?

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Read it, and our data processing agreement, for the details; this page does not restate them.

Does it work with ServiceM8?

Yes, on Starter and above. Connect ServiceM8 with an API key and each qualified enquiry arrives as a job at Enquiry status with the customer’s contact details and job notes.

Will I get a text when a lead comes in?

Yes, on Starter and above. Verify your mobile in Settings, Notifications, turn on SMS alerts, and you get a text with the customer’s name and number. Handoff requests, also on Starter and above, come by SMS and email with a link to reply.

Can customers message us on WhatsApp too?

Yes, on the Business plan. Connect your own WhatsApp Business number through Meta or Twilio and the chatbot answers there from the same knowledge as your website. Meta or Twilio charge for messaging under your own account with them; see their pricing.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. The free plan needs no card and covers website chat on your own content. Any paid plan can be tried free for seven days; a card is needed at checkout, and if you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged.
