Your data stays on your computer
Agents, chats, memory, files and sign-ins live in a local database on your machine. Keys and logins are sealed in a vault whose key sits in your Mac’s keychain. Pivra does not receive them.
The model is yours to choose
Run a model fully on your computer with no account, or bring your own key for Anthropic, OpenAI or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. With your own key, requests go from your computer to that provider, not through Pivra.
It asks before it acts
Reading and searching just happen. Anything that sends, pays, publishes or changes something waits for your yes on a card that shows exactly what will happen. Money, deletes and deploys need Touch ID or a typed phrase.
Commands run in a sandbox
On a Mac, commands run in the operating system’s own sandbox: no home folders, writes only to their own folder, network only as you allow. On Windows they use Docker for now.

Pivra Desk is not tied to one model. Start fully on your computer and switch when a job needs more.

Offline mode runs Gemma 4 (E2B, E4B or 12B) or a small Qwen model through llama.cpp on your own machine. No key, no account. Model files download from Hugging Face and are checked against a pinned checksum before use.
Best for reading, summaries and short tasks. Picks a size that fits the memory you have free.
Your own key
Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including Ollama, LM Studio or vLLM on your network. Requests go straight from your computer to that provider.

What is Pivra?
Pivra makes two products on one platform. Pivra Desk is a local-first AI agent that runs on your own Mac or Windows computer, works on your files, calendar and apps, and asks before it sends, pays or publishes anything. Pivra for business is an AI chatbot you train on your business and put on your website, WhatsApp and other channels to answer customer questions 24/7, capture leads and book appointments. Pivra Cloud, for always-on work, is coming as an opt-in.
Is Pivra Desk really private?
Your agents, chats, memory and files stay in a local database on your computer, and keys and logins are sealed in a vault there. With a model running on your computer, nothing about your work leaves it. If you choose a cloud model, the request goes from your computer to that provider under your own key, not through Pivra. Product analytics in the app are off unless you opt in, and then only a short list of counts is sent, never content. The details are on the security page.
Does Pivra Desk keep working when my computer is off?
No. Pivra Desk runs on your computer. Routines and follow-ups run while the app is open and the computer is on. Pivra Cloud, which is coming, will be the opt-in for work that needs to carry on with your laptop closed.
What does Pivra Desk do without asking?

Can it send email for me?
It drafts email and waits for your approval. Pivra’s built-in Google sign-in asks only for your calendar (read only) and your account email, so sending through Gmail needs your own Google sign-in app for now; without one, approved emails are saved as drafts for you to send.
How much does Pivra Desk cost?
Free is $0 with one agent, an on-device model or your own model key, files, routines and approvals. Plus is US$6 (A$9) a month and adds more agents, one-click Google and GitHub, and the morning brief. Plus + Credits, with cloud model credits so you need no key, is coming soon. Desk Plus is included for every member of a Pivra Pro or Business workspace.
How much does the Pivra chatbot cost?
Pivra has a free plan plus Starter, Pro and Business tiers. Paid plans are billed in AUD worldwide. Usage and the final amount are shown before payment.
Is Pivra suitable for tradies?
Yes. The Pivra chatbot is a strong fit for plumbers, electricians, HVAC, locksmiths, cleaners and other local service businesses. It answers common questions, qualifies jobs by service area and urgency, and captures contact details so you can call back with a proper quote.
How long does chatbot setup take?
About an hour. Train the chatbot on your website, documents or FAQs, tune how it looks and asks for leads, then follow the Install steps in your dashboard to put it on your site.
Does Pivra integrate with ServiceM8 or HubSpot?
Yes. Pivra connects natively to ServiceM8 to create jobs from website enquiries, and to HubSpot for CRM sync. ActiveCampaign, WhatsApp and Calendly are also supported on paid plans.
What makes Pivra different from Chatbase or Intercom?
Pivra focuses on useful customer outcomes: accurate answers, lead qualification, bookings, handoff, actions and revenue workflows.
