Setting up lead capture

Collect visitor names, emails, and phone numbers directly from the chat widget.

Enable lead capture

  1. Go to Settings β†’ General β†’ Lead capture section
  2. Toggle Enable lead capture on
  3. Configure which fields to collect: Name, Email, Phone, Company
  4. Mark fields as required or optional
  5. Save

The lead form appears at the start of every new conversation.

Viewing leads

Go to Leads in the dashboard sidebar. You'll see:

  • Contact details (name, email, phone, company)
  • Which chatbot captured the lead
  • Timestamp
  • Conversation transcript link

Exporting leads

Click Export CSV on the Leads page to download all leads for the selected chatbot. The CSV includes all fields plus timestamps.

Automating lead alerts

Set up an Action (Dashboard β†’ Actions) to:

  • Send an email to yourself when a lead is captured
  • Post to Slack or a webhook
  • Add the lead to HubSpot or Mailchimp automatically
