Your first agent, from a template
Pick one of the six templates, answer its setup questions, tick the schedules you want, and see the first approval card.

An agent in Pivra Desk is a name plus a job. It gets its own chat, memory, rules and routines on your computer. The quickest way to a useful one is a template.
The six templates
| Template | What it does | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Content & SEO | Drafts one useful article a day for your site, or for LinkedIn, Medium or a newsletter if you have no site yet. Checks how you show up in search, and can open the post as a pull request for you to approve. | Founders and marketers |
| Social media | Turns your posts, news and wins into ready-to-copy drafts for LinkedIn and X, in your voice. | Creators and small teams |
| Bookkeeper | Keeps track of invoices, receipts and what is due from the files you share, and drafts polite reminders. | Freelancers and small businesses |
| Researcher | Looks things up on the web and in your files, and writes a short summary with links to every source. | Anyone with a question |
| Job hunt | Tracks your applications, tailors your CV and cover letters to each role, and reminds you to follow up. | Graduates and job seekers |
| Study planner | Turns your syllabus and exam dates into a daily plan, quizzes you from your notes, and keeps you on track. | Students |
Every template says plainly what it will not do. None of them sends, publishes or pays on its own: those steps wait for you on an approval card.
Create the agent
- Press New agent (top of the agent list, or search for it with Cmd+K on a Mac, Ctrl+K on Windows).
- Under Or start from a template, pick one.
- Give it a Name. The template fills in the job.
- Answer the setup questions. They differ by template, for example:
- Content & SEO: Your website (optional), Brand or product name, Who you write for, Topics and buyer questions, Tone, and optionally a GitHub repo for posts and the Folder for posts in that repo. If you have a website, Fill from my website can suggest most of these; see Fill from my website.
- Bookkeeper: Business name, Where invoices and receipts are, Currency.
- Job hunt: Roles you want, Where your CV is.
- Study planner: Course or exam, Where your notes and syllabus are, Exam dates.
- Under Schedules it can run (off until you tick them), tick the routines you want. They stay off until you do. For example, the Content & SEO template offers a Daily article draft on weekdays at 9:00 and a Weekly search check on Mondays at 8:00.
- Save. The agent opens its chat.
On the free plan you have one agent: the Desk agent itself. Agents you already have keep working; adding another is what asks for Plus.
Talk to it
Say what you want in plain words, or use one of the template's skills by name ("Use the Brief skill on …"). Each template ships with two or three skills; they are short pieces of text you can read in full under Skills in the agent's Memory.
When the agent needs a file, point it at a folder. When it wants to do something that sends, publishes, pays or changes something, a card appears with the exact text, recipient or command. Nothing happens until you press Allow. See Approvals, rules and Touch ID.
Change the job later
Settings → This agent holds the name and the job. Rules holds what it may do alone and what it must ask about. Routines holds the schedules. Each agent has its own browser profile, so its sign-ins stay separate from yours and from other agents.
